Job summary

Netball NSW is offering a paid internship within the NSW Swifts High Performance team at Netball Central in Sydney. The role supports day-to-day elite team operations, training delivery, equipment management and facilities readiness to help players perform at their best.

The position provides hands-on experience in sport operations, logistics, and teamwork, with opportunities to work alongside coaches, performance staff and athletes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and reliable, willing to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in sport operations and athlete support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training set-up and equipment preparation for sessions.
• Pack down training areas and ensure equipment is clean and ready for future use.
• Support with player grocery needs and stocking supplies for the team.
• Assist with kit management, distribution, and preparation of training and match-day apparel.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of change rooms and team spaces.
• Complete laundry duties and manage training kit and towels.
• Restock fridges, hydration stations and medical room supplies.
• Support general team operations before, during, and after training and meetings.
• Assist staff with ad hoc operational requirements to ensure smooth team functioning.
• Assist dietitian with post-training smoothies for athletes.
