Job summary

ALRA | Australia's Leading Recruitment Agency is helping a leading Australian commercial law firm in Sydney hire an Associate Property Lawyer to manage complex property transactions and development projects across the lifecycle.

The successful applicant will work closely with one Partner, contribute to key commercial decisions, and handle structuring, due diligence and negotiation from start to finish, with a focus on capital transactions, development schemes, and leasing matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ PAE gained in private practice, with strong property transaction experience.
• Commercially minded with ability to contribute to major transactional decisions.
• Strong negotiation and client advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and financing of major assets.
• Handle development projects including build-to-rent, residential, hotel and urban renewal schemes.
• Advise on leasing and fit-out matters across Australia.
• Engage from structuring and due diligence through negotiation, completion and post-completion steps.
• Collaborate with clients, counterparties and advisers to deliver end-to-end transactions.
