Job summary

2COMS Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for long-term engagement with reputable Australian employers.

You will diagnose, maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles, engines and heavy equipment across transport, mining, civil construction and agriculture sectors. Suitable candidates will have trade qualifications, strong diagnostic skills and the ability to use diagnostic tools and manuals.

Qualifications

Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on trade experience.
Strong diesel engine diagnostic, maintenance and repair skills.
Experience using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles, machinery and heavy equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
Service, maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering and suspension.
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
Inspect and test vehicles, machinery and components to identify faults.
Repair, overhaul and replace defective parts and components.
Use diagnostic tools, testing equipment and manufacturer information to identify faults.
Work on heavy trucks, buses, commercial vehicles, earthmoving equipment and/or mobile plant.
Carry out engine and component overhauls where required.
Maintain accurate service reports and repair documentation.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain high workmanship standards.
Coordinate with workshop supervisors and team members to complete repairs efficiently.
