Job summary

Rheinmetall Defence Australia in Redbank, Queensland is seeking a Production Technician - Electronics to assemble, test and inspect electronic and optical equipment for the LAND 400 Phase 2 program. The role involves functional and diagnostic testing with specialised equipment, routine inspections, and calibration of production and test gear.

It requires a Certificate III in electronics and eligibility for Australian government security clearance, with opportunities on a rotating day/afternoon

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in electronics with field experience
• Avionics qualification highly regarded
• Experience in electronics/optics maintenance or production
• Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit technology
• Experience with PCBA repair and wiring
• Ability to travel internationally
• Eligible for Australian Government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and inspect electronic and optical equipment
• Perform functional and diagnostic tests with specialised equipment
• Inspect components to meet technical and quality standards
• Maintain and calibrate production and test equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
• Travel internationally when required
