Rheinmetall Defence Australia – Redbank QLD

As an Integration & Commissioning Technician, you will take the lead in bringing advanced Turret Systems to life on the Boxer vehicle and similar assemblies, playing a vital role in delivering mission critical Defence solutions through expert integration and commissioning.

About your new team

The Integration & Commissioning Technician forms part of a dynamic Weapons and Weapon Systems team based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) Redbank, Brisbane. You will work closely with skilled Technicians, Mechanics and Team Leads, reporting directly to the Production Manager to play a key role in integrating and commissioning cutting-edge Defence technologies.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Cert IV in Armament, Avionics or equivalent qualification;
• Cert III in Mechanic, Electronics, or Mechatronics;
• Proven experience in the integration of complex electronic and mechatronic systems;
• The ability to provide technical leadership to a multi-trade team integrating functions including mechanical and electrical assembly, commissioning and testing;
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings, manuals, and technical documents;
• Demonstrated understanding and the ability to apply quality control techniques;
• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
