Job summary

Rheinmetall is seeking an Integration & Commissioning Technician to lead the life-cycle integration of advanced turret systems for Boxer vehicles at MILVEHCOE, Redbank, Brisbane. You will work with skilled technicians and team leads to deliver mission-critical defence solutions through expert integration and commissioning.

The role requires leadership of a multi-trade team, ability to read complex drawings, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Armament, Avionics or equivalent required.
• Cert III in Mechanic, Electronics, or Mechatronics required.
• Experience integrating complex electronic and mechatronic systems.
• Ability to lead a multi-trade team in mechanical and electrical assembly, commissioning and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings, manuals and technical documents.
• Knowledge of quality control techniques is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and commissioning of turret systems on Boxer vehicles and related assemblies.
• Provide technical leadership to a multi-trade team during integration, assembly and testing.
• Review drawings and procedures to ensure accurate implementation and quality.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities to meet defence project requirements.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support programs as required.

You will work closely with skilled Technicians, Mechanics and Team Leads, reporting directly to the Production Manager to play a key role in integrating and commissioning cutting-edge Defence technologies.

• Cert IV in Armament, Avionics or equivalent qualification;

• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
