Job summary

Global Investment Bank in Sydney is seeking an Associate to join the Electronic Trading team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will support senior colleagues across Australia & NZ, assisting client execution and daily coverage for institutional, hedge fund, quant and systematic clients across APAC.

You will collaborate with regional and global counterparts, contribute to product development, and help expand trading coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years’ experience in Banks, Dealers, Brokers or Market Operators.
• Exposure to Global Markets including Equities; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This global investment bank has an established and leading e-trading business locally, regionally and globally, with strong client relationships across Australia & New Zealand. Their extensive and specialised industry coverage and strong international networks, strategically position the firm for continued success. Given this exponential growth, they are now seeking an Associate to join the Electronic Trading team in Sydney.

Reporting the Managing Director, you will support senior team members across the Australia & NZ business covering client execution, collaborating with both regional and global counterparts. You will also contribute to product development and provide daily coverage for Institutional, Hedge Fund, Quant & Systematic clients across APAC.

It is expected that you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related disciplines, with 1-3 years’ experience from relevant industries including but not limited to Banks, Dealers, Brokers and/or Market Operators. Your exposure to Global Markets including Equities, combined with excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and strong integrity & work ethic, will bode you will for success in this highly rewarding role.
