Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Navy Defence instructor to deliver hands-on training for Defence personnel in Randwick. The role combines classroom, simulator, and blended learning to build essential mission and technical capabilities.

Candidates should hold a trade qualification in electrical/electronics, ideally possess Navy experience, and be eligible for Australian Defence clearance. Onsite work five days a week with opportunities across global defence training programs.

Qualifications

  • Trade qualification in an electrical, electronics, or related technical discipline.
  • Defence, military, or technical training experience preferred.
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or willingness to obtain.
  • Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and therefore be an Australian Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led, blended, and simulator-based training programs for Defence personnel.
  • Prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post-course administration activities.
  • Support trainee development by monitoring progress and providing feedback.
  • Maintain and improve training materials and course content in collaboration with Defence customers.

This is a hands-on role where you'll use your trade and technical expertise to facilitate engaging learning experiences across classroom, simulator, and blended learning environments.
