Job summary

Powercor is seeking a Works Delivery Coordinator for a 12-month parental leave contract based in Brooklyn, VIC. The role reports to the Urban Works Delivery Manager and focuses on coordinating and optimising customer, maintenance, and network works to ensure safe, on-time project delivery.

You will work closely with Field Leaders and stakeholders to manage scheduling, risk, and delivery priorities, while contributing to continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

• Qualification in ESI Power Systems preferred, open to equivalent industry experience
• Knowledge of electricity transmission and distribution networks desirable
• Experience with SAP and workforce management systems
• Understanding of regulatory compliance issues (OHS) and related practices
• Experience planning and preparing jobs for Works Dispatch with safety a priority

Responsibilities

• Prepare and schedule work for field execution with Health and Safety and compliance as a priority
• Coordinate and ensure timely release of work to field with focus on target dates
• Support workplace continuous improvement initiatives
• Negotiate with stakeholders to modify processes and outcomes
• Support faults dispatch during emergencies to minimise unplanned customer minutes off supply (SAIDI)
• Contribute to regular reporting and program reviews
• Maintain and update technical skills and knowledge as required
