Job summary

Specialised Engineering Technologies (SET) is seeking electricians for both workshop-based overhaul and on-site project delivery in the mining and heavy industry sectors. Roles involve moving between the workshop and sites, performing installations, overhaul, commissioning support, and occasional travel to other workshops.

Candidates should have experience with explosion-protected equipment (AS3800) and be flexible, with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• AS3800 explosion-protected equipment overhaul experience is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work across workshop and site environments.
• Ability to travel for site and workshop-based project work.
• Strong work ethic, quality focus, and a positive team attitude.
• Willingness to obtain mining/site work tickets/inductions is advantageous.

We deliver high-quality workshop overhauls and on-site electrical works across a broad range of projects — no two days are the same.

About the role

We are expanding our team and looking for both workshop-based and site-based electricians to join us. These are dynamic roles — one week you might be in the workshop overhauling equipment, the next out on site delivering project work. • Experience in AS3800 explosion-protected equipment overhaul highly regarded

• Relevant tickets/inductions for mining/site work an advantage or willingness to obtain
