Job summary

C.J. Doyle Contracting Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Cable Jointer to join our Prestons-based team in Sydney. The role focuses on underground electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney and nearby areas.

We welcome applications from experienced Cable Jointers and third-year electrical apprentices looking to progress in the power distribution sector. This is a full-time position with potential for overtime to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Power Distribution Cable Jointing or recognised equivalent.
• Current NSW Electrical Licence.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Strong understanding of Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid network standards.
• Experience in construction of underground electrical assets on greenfield projects.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of underground electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney.
• Joiner role on power distribution networks with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Collaborate with team to meet project milestones and deadlines.

CJ Doyle Contracting Services is a Level 1 and Level 2 Accredited Service Provider specialising in the construction of electrical network mains to electrical authorities standards throughout Sydney and surrounds.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Cable Jointer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of underground electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney. We welcome applications from experienced Cable Jointers as well as third-year electrical apprentices looking to further their career in the power distribution industry.

This is a full-time / permanent position based out of our Prestons depot.

Certificate III in Power Distribution Cable Jointing, or a recognised equivalent qualification (third-year apprentices currently working towards this qualification are also encouraged to apply).

Current NSW Electrical Licence.

Strong understanding of Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid network standards.

Experience in the construction of underground electrical assets on greenfield projects.

Current Construction White Card.

Current Driver Licence.

Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety and company policies.

Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
