Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities team is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Wheatstone site in WA. The role involves casual maintenance and electrical repairs across camp facilities and site infrastructure, commencing ASAP, on a 2:2 roster for around six months.

Necessary qualifications include WA Grade A Electrical Licence, WA Driver's Licence, White Card, CPR/LVR with First Aid, and an Elevated Work Platform ticket. Prior hands-on electrical experience is essential.

Qualifications

• WA Grade A Electrical Licence required.
• WA Driver's Licence required.
• White Card / Construction Induction required.
• CPR & LVR with First Aid current.
• High-Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform required.
• Working at Heights completed within last 2 years.
• Experience with hand tools and equipment for electrical tasks.
• Physically fit for a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical maintenance and repairs across camp facilities and site infrastructure (accommodation and shared amenities).
• Work on a casual 2:2 roster for approx. 6 months.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of electrical systems on site.

This role will see you carrying out general maintenance and repairs of an electrical nature across camp facilities and site infrastructure including accommodation and shared amenities. This is a casual position commencing ASAP, working a 2:2 roster for an approximate 6-month period.

About You

• WA Grade A Electrical Licence
• WA Driver's Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Current CPR & LVR along with Current First Aid
• High-Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
• Working at Heights (completed within last 2 years)
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
• Physically fit and capable of performing a hands-on, physically demanding role
