Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations, a Glencore mining site in Western Australia, seeks a technically minded analyst to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions and drive performance improvements. You will contribute to statutory and corporate reporting requirements as part of a dedicated team.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position at a leading nickel and cobalt operation with strong safety standards and generous employee benefits across health, training and lifestyle programs.

Qualifications

• WA Electricians licence is required.
• High Voltage Operators certificate is required.
• Hazardous Area Maintenance training is optional if operating outside of Plant.
• Supervised Gas Fitter training is optional if operating outside of Plant.
• High Risk Work License for Elevated Work Platform/Forklift is required.
• WA C class drivers’ licence is required.
• Minimum two years electrical experience in an industrial/mining environment.
• Experience on a remote mine site preferred.
• Experience in BoreField operations, submersible pumps and VSDs.
• Experience in Instrumentation, flow meters and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong and comprehensive financial analysis on the impact of business decisions and propose actions to improve performance.
• Ensure statutory and corporate reporting requirements are met.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who can provide strong and comprehensive analysis on the financial impact of business decisions and proposing actions to improve performance, as well as ensuring statutory and corporate reporting requirements are met.

About You

This role would suit a technically minded and proficient individual.

You will also have:

• WA Electricians licence
• High Voltage Operators certificate
• Hazardous Area Maintenance training completed – optional if operating outside of Plant
• Supervised Gas Fitter training completed – optional if operating outside of Plant

• WA ‘C’ class drivers’ licence
• A minimum of two years’ electrical experience working in an industrial or mining environment
