Job summary

Excel Power Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified electrician or 2nd/3rd year apprentice to join our renewable energy team in Queensland. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems and battery storage across off-grid and grid-tied projects.

Work involves domestic and commercial installations with safety as a priority. Travel to sites is required, and applicants must have electrical licensing and Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician or experienced apprentice with hands-on electrical experience.
• Experience with solar PV installations and battery storage systems.
• Familiarity with off-grid systems and Enphase inverter technologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety codes, standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• General electrical installations and maintenance for domestic and commercial customers.
• Install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.
• Perform electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs in off-grid and grid-tied systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to deliver high‑quality installations.
• Test system performance and provide support for ongoing maintenance of solar and battery systems.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies in renewable energy.
