Job summary

Stralis Energy Pty Ltd seeks an Operations & Maintenance Electrician for a full-time on-site role at a solar farm in Goondiwindi, Queensland. You will support site performance, minimise downtime and ensure all activities meet safety and regulatory standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday with potential weekend work; compensation is hourly with penalties. You will join the O&M team, performing servicing, testing and proactive maintenance to keep the farm operating efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-conscious and able to work on large-scale projects with strict safety standards.
• Must hold electrical licence and White Card; include LVR/CPR certification.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, replacement and servicing of site systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and outages and respond promptly.
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of electrical work.
• Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Conduct electrical testing and related diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, safety standards and regulations.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Operations & Maintenance Electrician to join our team on-site at a fully operational solar farm in Goondiwindi, Queensland.

Working as part of the O&M team, you will support site performance, minimise downtime, and ensure all activities are carried out in line with safety and regulatory standards.

Regular hours are Monday - Friday, with some weekend work when required.
Hourly rate, with applicable penalties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, replacement, and servicing of site systems and equipment

About You

• Current Electrical Licence, Driver's Licence, White Card, and LVR/CPR Certification
• Physically fit and able to work in a site-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Professional, reliable, and proactive with a "can-do" attitude
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing, and participate in ongoing site testing
