Fenner Conveyors, a Michelin Group Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead reliability, maintenance strategy, and capital projects at our West Footscray facility. This hands-on role reports to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and requires strong CAD/ SolidWorks skills in a heavy‑industry setting.

You will drive asset reliability, identify and justify capital projects, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, and OHS teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency across the

• Strong mechanical design skills using CAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to connect, communicate, and influence at all levels of the business.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership in asset reliability using RCA, RCM, and defect elimination.
• Identify, scope, justify, and deliver engineering projects that enhance plant capability, capacity, and cost performance.
• Balance long‑term asset strategy with capital planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal Manufacturing, Procurement, and OHS teams, as well as external clients and subcontractors.

About You: Ready to take ownership of critical engineering projects? We are looking for a proactive Project Engineerto lead reliability, maintenance strategy, and capital projects at ourWest Footscray facility. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact our operational success.

About the Role: Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will serve as thetechnical backbone of our manufacturing operations. Your primary objective is to enhance safety, quality, and overall equipment efficiency through continuous improvement and structured methodologies.

Key Responsibilities -

• Plant Reliability: Provide technical leadership in asset reliability utilising RCA (Root Cause Analysis), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and defect elimination.
• Capital Projects: Identify, scope, justify, and deliver engineering projects that enhance plant capability, capacity, and cost performance.
• Asset Strategy: Balance long-term asset strategy, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise whole-of-life performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal Manufacturing, Procurement, and OHS teams, as well as external clients and subcontractors.
