Job summary

Service Stream is hiring an Electrician to join the ITS Projects Team in Western Australia. The role covers electrical and ITS asset installation, testing and handover for Graham Farmer Freeway maintenance.

A day/night rotating schedule with night-loading is available, with strong emphasis on safety and quality. The candidate should hold an Electrical Trade Qualification, current Electrical Licence and White Card; further licences like High Risk Licence and EWP are desirable.

Qualifications

Electrical Trade Qualification and current Electrical Licence.
White Card and Driver’s Licence.
High Risk Licence, EWP and traffic control/road authority tickets desirable.

Responsibilities

Support commissioning, testing and handover of ITS and electrical systems.
Carry out electrical works and ITS installations for traffic signals, CCTV, VMS and communications systems.
Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with standards.
Promote and enforce safety culture; conduct toolbox talks and safety audits.
Monitor progress, productivity, delays and issues for the Construction Manager.
Liaise with clients, inspectors and stakeholders on-site and maintain site records.
Assist with planning, scheduling and resource allocation for projects.
Ensure quality through inspections, testing, and verification of completed works.
