Job summary

Clough Ltd. is delivering the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities upgrade in Western Australia. We are hiring Instrumentation Electricians to support pre-commissioning, testing, ITR completions and fault finding while ensuring safe permit-to-work compliance.

You will read diagrams, install and test control systems, splice conductors, and participate in QA/completions. WA Electrical Licence, Cert IV instrumentation, and high risk licences required.

Qualifications

  • Completions/QA experience required.
  • Cert IV (instrumentation) completed.
  • Electrical Licence WA held.
  • Construction White/Blue Card required.
  • UETTDRRF06B – Perform rescue from a live LV panel.
  • HLTAID001 CPR training.
  • High Risk licence (WP).
  • First Aid qualifications.
  • Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence (desired).
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space (desired).
  • Work Safely at Heights (desired).
  • CCMS experience (desired).
  • FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) experience (desired).
  • HV Switching (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Pre-commissioning – Testing & ITR completions.
  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings or specifications to set up job requirements.
  • Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions / faults.
  • Follow Permit To Work / Isolation procedures.
  • Replace electrical and electronic components as required.
  • Install electrical and electronic control systems and insulated cables.
  • Assemble and fabricate electrical/electronic components and equipment.
  • Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements.
  • Connect electrical equipment to power supplies.
  • Splice and terminate electrical conductors.
  • Assemble and install conduits, cable ladder and other electrical conductor enclosures.
  • Complete electrical appliance and portable equipment testing and tagging.

Want to work on an iconic local project?

Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy.

Clough currently has opportunities on our Woodman Point Project for Instrumentation Electricians.

Your role will include:
