Job summary

Civil Fire is seeking a qualified electrician to join its electrical department, servicing residential strata sites across the Sydney metro. You will install and repair electrical systems, primarily focusing on smoke alarms, emergency lighting, and fire protection components.

The role requires the NSW Electrical Licence, a current driver’s licence, and flexibility to work across multiple sites. Working Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm, you will operate with a company car or car allowance, enjoy RDO,

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation and repair in residential/commercial strata buildings.
• Knowledge of fire detection systems (AS1670) and mechanical air handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems in strata buildings.
• Inspect buildings according to Australian Standards & the BCA.
• Follow job sheets, record materials and labour.
• Estimate costs for jobs and provide recommendations for compliance.
• Maintain professional conduct and customer service.
