Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Industrial Service Electrician to join our electrical services team across Sydney's Western Suburbs. The role focuses on industrial environments such as factories, food processing facilities, and materials handling systems.

Core duties include fault finding, maintenance, automation work, installations and project upgrades. This is a Monday–Friday position with a 3-month temp-to-perm pathway and ongoing opportunities throughout Western Sydney.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Experience in factories, manufacturing or food processing environments is highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Electrical breakdowns, fault finding and rectification.
• Respond to service call-outs across Sydney.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial systems.
• Automation and control systems work.
• Electrical work on materials handling systems.
• Installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Project and upgrade work within industrial facilities.
• Work safely across customer sites.

Engineering Trades Australia is currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Service Electrician to join an electrical services company across Sydney's Western Suburbs.

This is a great opportunity for an electrician with a strong industrial background, particularly those who have worked across factories, food manufacturing facilities, production environments or materials handling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical breakdowns, fault finding and rectification
• Responding to service call-outs across Sydney
• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial systems
• Automation and control systems
• Electrical work on materials handling systems
• Electrical aspects of refrigeration systems
• Installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment
• Project and upgrade work within industrial facilities
• Working safely and efficiently across customer sites

Requirements

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Previous industrial electrical experience
• Experience within factories, manufacturing or food processing environments highly regarded
• Experience with automation, control systems or materials handling highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights
• Current driver's licence
