Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain, service and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment across site operations from Perth. This 8/6 FIFO roster role emphasizes safety and proactive problem solving.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, detailed inspections and fault finding, while mentoring others. A-grade electrical licence, valid driver’s licence and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• A-grade Electrical Licence is mandatory.
• Based in Perth with FIFO roster.
• Willingness to work an 8/6 FIFO roster.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and risk management.
• Confident communicating with customers and team members.
• Working at Heights competency.
• EWP ticket is desirable.
• Methodical and detail‑oriented with professional conduct.
• Represents the Konecranes and Demag brand with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and corrective maintenance on cranes and lifting equipment.

The Role

• Detailed inspections across various makes and models
• Fault finding and complex breakdown repairs
• Repairs, modernisations and installations
• Recommending and quoting repair solutions
• Conducting accurate risk assessments before every task
• Presenting safety and service reviews to customers
