Job summary

Berger is seeking an Electrician to commission and maintain equipment at the Oakbank facility. You will contribute to automation, instrumentation, and control projects in collaboration with our design team. The role includes installing electrical systems and ensuring reliable plant operation.

• Background as instrumentation & control technician or industrial electrician with Red Seal certification.
• Experience with work control systems and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Thorough, rigorous and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning equipment in the plant and improving/maintaining it.
• Realize automation, instrumentation and control projects with design team.
• Complete installation of electrical systems and ensure proper functioning of components.
• Troubleshoot and update electrical plans and schematics.

Electrician

This may be the job for you! As an Electrician, you will be responsible for commissioning equipment in the plant and for improving and maintaining it at our Oakbank facilities. You will be involved in the realization of automation, instrumentation and control projects, in collaboration with our design team.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Complete installation of electrical systems;
• Ensure the proper functioning of the electrical components in the plant according to Berger standards;
• Troubleshooting;
• Work with the design team during this major project or breakdowns;
• Update electrical plans and schematics related to plant equipment;
• You will also be asked to propose ideas for improvement to your supervisor and ensure communication with the right people when problems arise.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• You have a background in instrumentation and control technician or industrial electrician with Red Seal certification;
• You have experience with work control systems and Allen Bradley PLCs;
• You are a thorough and rigorous person in your work and you like teamwork.
