Job summary

Pilbara Ports Authority, based in Dampier, WA, is seeking a qualified electrician to maintain and repair port infrastructure, including HV and LV systems. You will undertake planned and breakdown maintenance, inspections, and improvement works in a complex industrial setting, with relocation assistance and housing support provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and breakdown electrical maintenance across port infrastructure.
• Conduct asset inspections and implement improvement works.
• Coordinate with contractors, trades assistants, trainees and apprentices to ensure safe, efficient maintenance.
• Ensure work complies with regulations, standards and Pilbara Ports procedures.

• Salary $150,741 per annum inc. 15% location allowance + 13% Superannuation
• Based in Dampier - Relocation Included

This is a great opportunity to be part of the world's largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. As part of the maintenance team, Electricians play an important role in maintaining Pilbara Ports' infrastructure, undertaking planned and breakdown maintenance, electrical repairs, asset inspections and improvement works across High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical systems.

Working within a complex industrial environment, you will play an important role in maintaining reliable port infrastructure while ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, standards and Pilbara Ports procedures. The role also provides opportunities to support trades assistants, trainees and apprentices through task supervision.

You are a qualified electrical professional with experience working in a complex industrial environment and a strong commitment to safe work practices. You bring practical experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, with the ability to read and interpret electrical plans and confidently work across High Voltage and Low Voltage systems.

You are organised and adaptable, with the ability to scope works, coordinate materials and manage competing priorities. You communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively with contractors, trades assistants, trainees and apprentices to support safe and efficient maintenance activities.

You are a positive team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in contributing to the safe and reliable operation of Pilbara Ports' infrastructure.
