Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and tradespeople with electrical maintenance, repairs and equipment overhauls.
• Support the servicing and maintenance of specialised underground coal mining machinery.
• Assist with dismantling, inspecting, cleaning and reassembling electrical components and equipment.
• Prepare tools, materials and equipment for maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with fault-finding activities and the replacement of electrical components under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, safe work instructions and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams to meet deadlines and production requirements.
