Job summary

Zinfra is seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our Cambridge Depot team in Tasmania. This hands-on role involves travelling across Tasmania to support Electrical Tradespeople on a range of construction projects, with regular travel and periods away from home on offer.

You will read work instructions and plans, use hand tools safely, follow safety requirements, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality and customer service across projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using hand tools and equipment safely.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Current Driver's Licence (HR Licence highly desirable).
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift and/or C2 Crane highly desirable).
• Blue/White Card (OHS Construction Induction Card).

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on support and assistance to Electrical Tradespeople across construction projects
• Assisting with Digging pole holes, earth trenches, and general yard/depot duties
• Reading and following work instructions, plans and safety requirements
• Undertaking all work in accordance with company policies, quality systems, HSE procedures and statutory requirements
• Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our Cambridge Depot team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to travel throughout Tasmania and work on a diverse range of construction projects. Regular travel and working away from home are required, while enjoying the benefits of a 9-day fortnight.

• Providing hands-on support and assistance to Electrical Tradespeople across construction projects
