Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Electrical Test & Measurement Technician to join the Homebush service team in Sydney. The role focuses on calibration, testing, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical test and measurement equipment used across low-, medium- and high-voltage applications.

The ideal candidate will have electrical testing, calibration, instrumentation or electronics repair experience, with the ability to troubleshoot down to component level and document work thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in electrical testing, calibration, instrumentation or electronics repair.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and measurement principles.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, accuracy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing and repair of electrical test and measurement equipment.
• Work with low-, medium- and high-voltage test instruments.
• Diagnose faults down to component level and complete corrective repairs.
• Conduct incoming inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Prepare detailed service and calibration reports.
• Ensure work complies with applicable Australian Standards and internal quality procedures.
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and email.
• Maintain accurate service records, inventory and workshop tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the service department.

What you will be doing:

What you must have:

Highly Regarded

• Experience working in a NATA-accredited laboratory environment

• Experience with high-voltage test equipment

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems

• Experience supporting power utilities or industrial customers

• Restricted Electrical Licence in NSW, or willingness to obtain one

Salary/Rate Range: AUD $100,000-$120,000, depending on experience
