Job summary

TasNetworks is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Rocherlea Depot in Tasmania. Base salary from $105,807 per annum (plus super) and a permanent full-time position.

You will maintain, inspect and fault-find on HV and LV assets, install UG LV services, and support metering activities across the distribution network, helping deliver safe, reliable power to communities. A trade-qualified Electrician with Cert III in Electrotechnology and a Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence is

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an Electrician with Cert III in Electrotechnology.
• Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient and high-quality electrical work that meets customer expectations and project timeframes.
• Repair, maintain and construct electricity distribution network assets and UG systems.
• Operate across the HV and LV network within your qualifications and competencies.
• Install UG LV services, support metering activities and complete network maintenance works.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities on network equipment.
• Construction, Commissioning and testing of Subdivisions, Commercial/Industrial land developments
