Job summary

Vertiv in Sydney is seeking a hands-on technician to assemble and test AC/DC power systems, precision cooling and rack products as part of the LCC program. The role focuses on completing assembly, configuration and verification of equipment to the required standards.

You'll work with minimal supervision, maintain EHS compliance, and participate in on-site training and competency development while contributing to a safe, efficient site operations environment.

Qualifications

• CAD experience or ability to work with new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work with new products, processes and technologies.
• Interpersonal and prioritisation skills.
• Problem solving ability with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and control EHS risks for all activities.
• Maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Complete assembly, configuration and testing of AC/DC power, cooling, and rack systems.
• Maintain high competence with minimal supervision; training available.
• Secure and maintain company equipment, docs and materials.
• Sign off on responsible activities.
• Test and configure equipment before dispatch.
• Ensure site induction and competency for all workers.
• Maintain EHS risk registers for site activities.
• Comply with WHS/Environment/Quality management systems.
• Promote a positive EHS culture and report incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections; follow SWMS/EHS policies.
