Job summary

Connect People is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for an immediate short-term opportunity based in Woodend, VIC. This role focuses on terminating 3-phase power, control and instrumentation cables to field equipment.

Ideal candidates will hold an electrical trade qualification (or overseas equivalent) and have hands-on experience with industrial electrical installs. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, on a short project of ~3–4 weeks, with hourly pay of $42.58 + super.

Qualifications

• Proven experience terminating 3-phase power, control and instrumentation cables.
• Electrical trade qualification or overseas qualification suitable for the role.
• Experience in industrial, commercial or infrastructure electrical works preferred.
• Ability to work safely and independently on site.

Our client requires a skilled electrical professional with experience terminating 3-phase power, control and instrumentation cables to field equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician or overseas-qualified electrician with strong hands-on cable termination experience.

What you need:

• Electrical trade qualification or overseas electrical qualification suitable for the role
• Previous industrial, commercial or infrastructure electrical experience preferred
• Ability to work safely and independently on site
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Full Australian working rights and currently located in Melbourne
