BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada – Gosford NSW is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Self Perform team on-site servicing the Central Coast.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards, and general electrical infrastructure, working safely and to BGIS standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
• White Card required
• Current Driver's Licence required
• 1+ years post-trade electrical maintenance experience preferred
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across client facilities
• Conduct fault finding, repairs, and upgrades across electrical systems
• Service and maintain emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards, and general electrical infrastructure
• Complete work orders within required timeframes using BGIS systems
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians where required
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors when required
• Ensure all works comply with WHS, compliance, environmental, and quality standards
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices across service delivery

The Role
BGIS is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians to join our Self Perform team servicing the Central Coast, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, repairs, and minor works across client facilities.

In this role, you'll provide end-to-end electrical maintenance support as part of a collaborative building services team. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across systems including emergency lighting, smoke alarms, switchboards, and general electrical infrastructure, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to BGIS quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology

• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver's Licence
• 1 or more years of post-trade electrical maintenance experience
• Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
