Ventia in Toowoomba is seeking a hands-on Dual Trade Telepower Technician (Electrical, HVAC) to service the wider Toowoomba region. This field-based role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to work across a broad regional footprint.

You will maintain Telstra network infrastructure, respond to emergencies, diagnose and repair faults across electrical, HVAC, solar and power systems, and ensure safety and compliance while providing clear reporting.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems (Microsoft Suite, Maximo).

Find your further with Ventia in this new Dual Trade Telepower Technician (Electrical, HVAC) position servicing the greater Toowoomba area.

This is a hands-on field-based role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across a wide regional footprint. You will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting telecommunications infrastructure, including power systems, generators, and HVAC equipment while ensuring reliability across the network.

You must have full working rights and be open to travel 1-2 weeks a month (working away from home Monday to Friday).

Required Skills and Experience

You are a motivated and self-driven technician who enjoys working autonomously and tackling diverse technical challenges. Ideally you will have experience in the telecommunications industry.

• Current LVR CPR and First Aid
• Construction white card
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Competent using digital tools and systems (Microsoft Suite, Maximo)
