Job summary

AustCorp Executive seeks an experienced Electrical Team Leader to manage a skilled electrical engineering group on commercial redevelopments and new greenfield projects. The role combines hands-on design review with mentorship and client interaction.

You will oversee output, allocate workloads, and guide the team in compliance with NCC and AS standards. Based in Cronulla with flexible hours and WFH options, this position suits a proactive engineer looking to lead a growing team.

Qualifications

• Has 5+ years Australian experience in commercial building and/or construction sectors.
• Must have an Electrical Engineering degree and Australia recognised tertiary qualification.
• Prior people management or supervision experience.
• Hands on experience with Australian NCC, building standards such as AS3000, AS3008 AS3012, AS3017, AS7000, AS4777, AS61439, etc.
• Has a great attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Familiar with software such as REVIT, PowerPac, AGI, DIALux etc.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Review system designs - lighting, power distribution, smoke and fire detection, comms, security etc.
• Provide advice and training where required.

The Electrical Team Leader will join a collaborative Electrical team with established clients and projects. Develop, train and mentor a small team of electrical engineers to continue to improve and build the strengths of the individuals and the team as a whole.
