Job summary

SCEE Electrical is seeking an Electrical Supervisor in Launceston for a large-scale Data Centre project. DIDO and local roster options are available.

You will lead the electrical team, ensure safe systems of work, plan activities to optimise efficiency, and coordinate with clients and contractors. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ supervision experience in heavy construction, hold the Tas Electrical Practitioners Licence and a Construction White Card, and demonstrate strong leadership and

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel follow safe systems of work.
• Plan activities per standards to minimise inefficiencies.
• Direct and coordinate electrical workforce on the contract.
• Demonstrate risk management, QA, and control.
• Participate in safety investigations and audits.
• Liaise with client and contractor representatives.
• Monitor site instructions to capture and agree costs.

About the role

SCEE Electrical are looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisors based in Launceston to join us on the construction of a large-scale Data Centre, with DIDO and local roster options available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
• Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
• Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract
• Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control
• Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
• Participate in Quality Assurance audits
• Liaise with client and contractor representatives
• Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to

About you

To be successful in this position you will have at least 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the heavy construction industry and hold your TAS Electrical Practitioners Licence. You will have well developed leadership skills as well as strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following;

• Experience with contractual compliance and stakeholder management

• Hold a Construction White Card
