Job summary

SCEE Electrical are seeking an Electrical Supervisor based in Launceston to support the construction of a large-scale data centre. The role offers DIDO and local roster options, with a focus on leading a skilled electrical team on site and delivering compliant, on-time outcomes.

You will drive safety, quality assurance and coordination with clients and contractors, maintaining safe systems of work and managing costs and progress through clear supervision and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Electrical Supervisor in heavy construction.
• TAS Electrical Practitioners Licence required.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract.
• Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work.
• Plan activities to standard and minimise inefficiencies.
• Participate in safety investigations, QA audits and stakeholder liaison.
• Monitor site instructions to capture and agree costs.

About the role

SCEE Electrical are looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisors based in Launceston to join us on the construction of a large-scale Data Centre, with DIDO and local roster options available.Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all personnel maintain safe systems of work
• Plan activities in accordance with standards and to minimise inefficiencies
• Direct and coordinate the workforce for electrical requirements of the contract
• Understanding of risk management, quality assurance and control
• Participate in safety investigations, reporting and discussions
• Participate in Quality Assurance audits
• Liaise with client and contractor representatives
• Monitor relevant site instruction to ensure costs are captured and agreed to

About you

To be successful in this position you will have at least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the heavy construction industry and hold your TAS Electrical Practitioners Licence. You will have well developed leadership skills as well as strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
