Job summary

TORRA Staffing & Recruitment is partnering with a progressive electrical and renewable energy company in the Hunter region. They seek an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Lead Electrician to own projects, mentor installers and drive on-site safety and quality.

You will lead teams across solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installations, ensuring standards, commissioning and fault-finding expertise are applied on every job.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• Proven experience leading teams on electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of solar, battery or renewable energy systems is essential.
• SAA Accreditation is highly regarded.
• Experience commissioning and fault-finding electrical systems.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are important.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical and installation teams across multiple projects.
• Leading the delivery of solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installations.
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and industry regulations.
• Conducting site inspections, commissioning and quality assurance checks.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing onsite support.
• Coordinating materials, equipment and scheduling requirements.
• Mentoring apprentices and junior team members.
• Building positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.

We're partnering with a progressive electrical and renewable energy company experiencing strong growth across the Hunter region. With an outstanding reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, they're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Lead Electrician to take ownership of projects, mentor installers and help drive operational excellence.

This is more than a toolbox role. You'll be the go-to person on site, leading teams, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard, and providing technical guidance across a range of renewable energy projects.

The Role

Reporting directly into the leadership team, you'll be responsible for:
