Job summary

Recruit Shop Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced electrician to lead on-site, from rough-in to final completion, across high-end residential projects. You will coordinate materials, mentor apprentices, and liaise with builders and clients while traveling to sites as required.

We offer a negotiable hourly rate of $50–$55 ph, super, a new Isuzu D-MAX ute, fuel card, overtime, and strong team support within a reputable, safety‑conscious company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of post-trade experience in residential electrical work.
• White Card and Full Driver's Licence are required.
• Own tools and professional presentation are essential.
• Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 standards.
• NSW Electrical Licence highly regarded; international licences considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site from rough-in to final completion and coordinate materials and workflow.
• Maintain timelines and site quality, and mentor apprentices and juniors.
• Perform hands-on electrical work on residential projects and liaise with builders and clients.
• Travel to work sites as required by the job.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to step up and lead on-site, keeping electrical projects running smoothly from rough-in through to final completion. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Performing hands-on labour, working alongside other trades, and coordinating materials and workflow on-site
• Maintaining timelines, quality control, and overall site organisation
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices and junior electricians
• Executing hands-on electrical work across residential projects
• Liaising professionally with builders, clients, and suppliers
• Travelling to work away when required by the job

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5+ years of post-trade experience in residential electrical work
• White Card and Full Driver's Licence
• Own tools and professional presentation
• Good understanding of AS/NZS 3000 standards
• The confidence to step up, lead by example, and genuinely play as part of a team
