Job summary

UGL Energy & Industrial is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for site-based delivery on our DIDO/FIFO roster in Western Australia. The role reports to the Construction Manager and leads electrical construction activities, crews and subcontractors to deliver compliant works safely and on time.

You will supervise installation, coordination across live substations, toolbox talks and safety initiatives while ensuring QA and HSSEQ documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Experience in a supervisory role within electrical construction.
• Experience in substations, HV works, renewables or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of safety systems, QA requirements and site compliance.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and people management capability.
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities.
• Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.
• Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.
• Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.
• Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives.
• Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets.
• Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership.
