Job summary

Searo is a self-performing electrical contractor delivering projects across renewable energy and infrastructure. The NSW operations seek an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join the team and contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of high‑performance energy systems.

You will work on solar, BESS, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with NSW regulatory requirements and safety standards while coordinating with engineers and site supervisors to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in electrical construction or energy infrastructure
• Experience with HV/LV switchgear, solar PV, BESS, or utility-scale projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of NSW electrical regulatory framework
• Certifications: UETTDRCJ21A, UETTDRCJ26A, UETTDRCJ27A, UETDRIS011, UETDRIS010

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance across solar, BESS, and infrastructure projects
• Work on or near the NSW electricity distribution network under ASP accreditation
• Compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 2067, and relevant DNSP safety management plans
• Site safety leadership including SWMS, PTW, and toolbox talks
• Liaising with project engineers and site supervisors on technical matters
