Job summary

Civmec is seeking an experienced QC Inspector - Electrical for the Iluka Rare Earths Refinery project at Eneabba, WA. You will support QA activities across electrical and instrumentation works, ensuring installations meet project specs, standards, ITPs and quality requirements, with accurate documentation.

Based at Eneabba, the role offers a 2:1 DIDO roster with transport provided from Perth. The successful candidate will hold a WA Electrical Licence, 5+ years in QA/QC or electrical inspection

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification with WA licence.
• Minimum 5 years in industry, with at least 3 years in QA/QC or electrical inspection on construction projects.
• Experience inspecting electrical and instrumentation installations on major resources, mining or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations, project specs and quality systems.
• Proven experience managing ITPs, NCRs, audits, test docs and handover dossiers.
• Experience reviewing electrical test results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations per specs and standards.
• Review ITPs, quality procedures, management plans and methods.
• Perform progressive inspections and complete records and test reports.
• Verify electrical equipment and installations against drawings and specs.
• Review testing and commissioning activities (insulation, continuity, loop checks).
• Monitor material traceability of electrical components.
• Maintain MDRs and handover documentation.
• Provide technical quality support to supervisors and engineers.
• Liaise with client representatives and assist in quality audits.
• Identify, document and report non-conformances and assist corrective actions.
