Job summary

Mount Isa Mines is seeking an Engineering Project Supervisor (Electrical) based in Mount Isa, Queensland. You will lead safe delivery of high-impact electrical and asset improvement projects within the High Voltage Projects team, reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer.

This residential role offers a 5/2, 4/3 roster and the opportunity to own major site works in a historic mining operation. The role requires strong leadership, contractor management, and the ability to coordinate complex

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising and delivering electrical or multi-disciplinary projects in mining, industrial, or heavy industry.
• Strong leadership capability and contractor management experience.
• Ability to coordinate complex site-based work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver electrical projects ensuring compliance with standards and budgets.
• Develop detailed project execution plans and define resource requirements.
• Coordinate labour and manage site works to ensure safe execution.
• Manage contractor and project personnel performance to maximise efficiency.
• Plan proactively to minimise downtime and unplanned shutdowns.
• Provide regular project reporting and financial tracking.
• Mentor junior and graduate engineers within the team.
• Ensure all work is completed by competent, trained, and authorised personnel.
