Job summary

JD Ross Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery package for a major hyperscale data centre expansion in Sydney. You will oversee installation, energisation, and handover, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial targets are met.

Key responsibilities include managing HV/LV installations, coordinating commissioning with client teams, and controlling budgets while maintaining compliance with Australian Standards and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

Experience delivering large-scale electrical packages ($10M+).
Background in data centres or similar critical infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of HV/LV distribution, substations/transformers, UPS, generators.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical works across the project lifecycle from install to energisation.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Drive milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
Oversee HV/LV installations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS.
Coordinate commissioning with client teams.
Monitor budgets, variations, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specs, and HSE.
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
