Randstad Australia is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support water infrastructure renewals and minor capital projects in Arundel, QLD. The role involves technical guidance, site coordination, and ensuring quality delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of project engineering experience in the water/waste or heavy civil sectors in SE Queensland. A Manual C-Class license and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 3+ years Project Engineering experience within the water/waste or heavy civil sectors in SE Qld.
• Experience in self-perform D&C projects, managing subcontractors, drafting scopes of work, and managing schedules.
• Compliance: Manual C-Class Driver’s License, pre-employment Medical & D&A test, and Hep A/B immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, site coordination, and progress reporting for water renewals and minor capital projects.
• Participate in Safety in Design, value engineering, review constructability, and manage AFC drawing timelines.
• Assist in developing project budgets, methodologies, procurement options, and monthly cost reporting/forecasting.
