Job summary

Randstad in Arundel, QLD is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to provide technical guidance, site coordination, and support for water infrastructure renewals and minor capital projects. You will work with site teams to ensure constructability, quality, and budget alignment.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in water/waste or heavy civil projects are required, plus D&C experience with subcontractors and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 3+ years of project engineering experience in water/waste or heavy civil sectors in SE Queensland.
• Experience in self-perform D&C projects, managing subcontractors, drafting scopes of work and schedules.
• Compliance: manual C-Class driver's license, pre-employment medical & D&A test, Hep A/B immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice & site support with reporting, coordination, and progress tracking.
• Participate in Safety in Design reviews and value engineering; review constructability and AFC drawing timelines.
• Assist in project controls: budgets, methodologies, procurement options and cost reporting/forecasting.
• Identify/mitigate safety hazards and ensure Zero Harm on sites.
