Job summary

SEEK is seeking a hands-on Electrical Project Engineer for a major Tier 1 hyperscale data centre project in Queensland. You will own electrical construction delivery, ensuring site teams have approved drawings, materials, ITPs and quality documentation to execute complex electrical works safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or electrical trade background with project experience.
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and electrical drawings.
• Experience preparing construction work packages and ITPs.
• Experience RFIs and technical query resolution.
• Experience tracking construction progress and procurement coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical construction work packages before site execution.
• Ensure drawings, materials and ITPs are ready for crews.
• Review drawings for constructability issues.
• Raise RFIs and drive technical resolutions.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Manage material call-offs with procurement and stores.
• Track installed quantities and progress.
• Maintain records for variations and entitlements.
• Administer ITPs and quality documentation.
• Support site managers with technical interpretation.
