seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead delivery of a significant self-performed electrical package within a Tier 1 hyperscale data centre project in Queensland. You will hold accountability across safety, program, commercial performance, engineering, construction, quality and workforce delivery throughout planning, mobilisation and completion.

The role operates on a 15 days on / 6 days off DIDO roster with transport from Brisbane Airport and a roughly 24-month

Formación

• 8+ years' electrical project management experience.
• Demonstrated delivery of $20M+ self-performed electrical packages.
• Electrical trade qualification or electrical engineering background.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical construction and sequencing.
• Experience leading Site Engineers, Site Managers and large trade teams.
• Strong commercial capability across variations, delays and productivity management.
• Experience managing head contractor and stakeholder interfaces.
• Strong programming and short-term planning capability.
• Major construction, infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical project experience.
• Data centre experience highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver the electrical package safely, to program, budget and quality requirements.
• Own the section program and detailed two-week construction lookaheads.
• Lead Site Engineers, Site Managers and the associated electrical trade workforce.
• Manage construction sequencing, work-front readiness and labour requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day project interface with the Tier 1 head contractor.
• Coordinate engineering, drawings, RFIs, technical queries and construction requirements.
• Monitor installed quantities, labour productivity, progress and cost performance.
• Identify and manage variations, delays, scope changes and project constraints.
• Ensure delay and variation notifications are raised promptly and accurately.
• Work closely with commercial personnel on project entitlements and substantiation.

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant self-performed electrical package within a highly structured major-project environment on a Tier 1 hyperscale data centre project in Queensland. You will hold genuine accountability across safety, program, commercial performance, engineering, construction, quality and workforce delivery – leading your section from planning and mobilisation through installation and completion. The project operates on a 15 days on / 6 days off DIDO roster once the project kicks off, with transport provided from Brisbane Airport. The project has an approximately 24-month delivery program. The broader electrical works include temporary electrical, inground services, mechanical services gallery and chiller works, alongside LV power, containment and associated electrical infrastructure.

About you
