Zusammenfassung

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support an established mining operator’s site projects team on a brownfield electrical upgrade. The role covers asset replacement, upgrades and reliability improvements while coordinating with project managers, operations, maintenance and contractors.

This 6-month initial contract is FIFO from Perth on a 4/3 roster with a 48-hour week (four 12-hour days).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of three years’ project engineering experience in operating plants, brownfield environments or maintenance
• Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical systems and related equipment
• Ability to develop scopes and engineering documentation and coordinate project delivery
• Experience coordinating contractors and multi-disciplinary teams, including shutdowns
• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements
• Experience in project planning, estimating, budgeting, and cost control; proficient in MS Office and MS Project
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Current WA C/CA-Class driver’s licence and willingness to work a 4/3 FIFO roster

Aufgaben

• Develop scopes of work, specifications and Basis of Design documentation for electrical projects
• Review designs, calculations and vendor submissions for alignment with project requirements and site needs
• Support electrical asset replacement and upgrades for HV, MV and LV systems
• Assist with project estimating, budgeting, scheduling and procurement
• Coordinate engineering consultants, vendors, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Plan electrical works during shutdowns and live operating environments
• Provide technical oversight during installation, testing and commissioning
• Support project close-out with handover packages and as-built documentation
• Contribute to safety-in-design reviews and risk assessments
