Job summary

RSGx is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering and technical support and coordinate between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

You will lead technical input, monitor safety, and deliver quality paperwork for timely monthly billing, while integrating testing, QA, and supplier coordination on complex M&E projects across Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Strong technical skills in power, lighting, control and communications.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commercial experience with delays/variation claims helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on electrical project work scopes on and offsite.
• Coordinate between design, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Monitor safe execution and maintain project QA documentation.
• Prepare progress and commercial reports (scheduling, etc.).
• Perform quality checks and coordinate third party inspections as needed.
• Ensure correct paperwork for monthly billing and project records.
• Scope new projects, assist with supplier pricing and quoting.
• Maintain testing equipment calibration and related registers.
