Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited seeks an Electrical Project Engineer for our Brisbane CBD office. You will oversee electrical construction projects across mining and mineral processing sectors, reporting to the Brisbane Manager, with opportunities for professional growth.

The role involves collaborating with design teams, managing documentation, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Brisbane-based with periodic site visits; strong on-site experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical required.
• Extensive on-site mining project experience.
• Must have White Card and National Police Clearance.
• Full Australian working rights (PR or Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to ensure technical aspects are defined.
• Address E&I-focused technical and construction queries.
• Ensure projects run to company standards.
• Interface with engineering design team regularly.
• Maintain master file and controlled drawings per markups.

About Us

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Engineer to join our team based in our Brisbane CBD Office, reporting to the Brisbane Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join GRES during a period of significant growth, offering excellent potential for professional development and career progression.

Working within a collaborative Team you will support a range of diverse projects, participating in the day to day organising and management of electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Include

• Review documentation to ensure technical aspects of the package are defined
• Cover all E&I-focused technical and construction-based queries
• Ensure projects are run in accordance with company standards.
• Interface with the engineering design team on an ongoing basis
• Ensure master file and all controlled drawings are maintained in accordance with red-line markup procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with the client, stakeholders, vendors and suppliers.
• Project and construction sequence scheduling

About You

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• Bachelor of Engineering - Electrical
• Knowledge of engineering design, and the ability to assist with technical queries to clarify project scopes.
• Project implementation and on-site construction and commissioning experience in mining projects, mineral processing plants and bulk materials handling construction projects
• Extensive mine site experience.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to work to a schedule.
• Must have full and unrestricted Australian working rights ( PR or Citizenship) to be considered
• Hold a White Card
• Provide a clean National Police Clearance

Note : All applicants must have full and unrestricted Australian working rights and be currently residing in Brisbane to be considered , any applicant who doesnt meet these requirements will be automatically unsuccessful

This role is primarily based in the company’s Brisbane office but will require periodical attendance on the company sites
