Job summary

BlueScope Distribution Pty in Western Sydney is seeking an Electrical Operator/Maintainer for its Electrical Maintenance team in Erskine Park. The role involves operating, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment on a 12-hour day/night shift, five days a week, on a modern paint line producing COLORBOND products.

Experience in an industrial setting with PLCs, drives and HMI is valued. Comprehensive training and development are provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualifications and a current NSW Electrical Licence.
• Demonstrated experience with PLC, Drives, HMI and networks.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely to maintain continuous line performance.
• Contribute to a safe working environment.
• Conduct inspections and identify issues not performing to standard.
• Provide technical support to ensure equipment reliability.
• Fault find on PLC, Drives, Data Network, HMI and instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment efficiency.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and requirements.
