Job summary

Manildra Group seeks a motivated Electrical Operator to join the Operations and Maintenance team at the Port Kembla Bulk Liquids Terminal. The role provides operational oversight and electrical maintenance services to support safe, efficient day-to-day terminal operations.

You will support shipping operations, coordinate maintenance tasks, manage contractors and maintain accurate CMMS records. A Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Electrical Fitting and a valid license are essential, with

• Licenses and certs required to perform electrical maintenance at a terminal.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational control of the Terminal during shipping operations.
• Coordinate electrical maintenance tasks including breakdown, preventative and predictive work.
• Manage contractor engagement and spare parts procurement.
• Maintain all maintenance and spare parts records in the Terminal CMMS.
• Contractor coordination and management for maintenance tasks.

Job description

Manildra Group is seeking a motivated and safety focused Electrical Operator to join our Operations and Maintenance team at our Port Kembla Bulk Liquids Terminal. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the establishment, and future of a brand-new facility. This role provides operational oversight and electrical maintenance services for the effective day-to day running of the Terminal

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting Terminal operations, electrical maintenance services, contractor management, spare parts procurement.

The Electrical Operator provides operational control of the Terminal during shipping operations.

The position also coordinates and/or undertakes electrical maintenance tasks in the Terminal. These include breakdown, preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.

The Electrical Operator maintains all maintenance and spare parts records in the Terminal CMMS.

Contractor coordination and management for maintenance tasks is also a responsibility of the Electrical Operator.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience - Needed:

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Certificate III in Electrical Fitting

Electrical Supervisor/Contractor License

Driver’s License

Able to work independently and strong problem-solving skills

Travel from time-to-time

Skills, Qualifications & Experience - Desirable:

Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control

Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas training

Maritime Security Identification Card

EWP>11m High Risk License

First Aid Certificate

Emergency and Fire Warden training

Confined Space Standby and Entry training

Low Voltage Rescue training

4+ years petrochemical or oil and gas industry experience
